The Beluga Wrap is Certified Hip Healthy!

Designing wraps with your baby’s best interests at heart has always been the core of Beluga Baby. That’s why, from the very start, we made it a priority to have a carrier that not only calmed your baby, but protected their delicate hips and legs.

Whether or not your baby wrap is ergonomic should be an essential part of your decision-making process. The importance of hip-development in infancy should not be overlooked.

On that note, we are proud to announce that the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IDHI) has designated our Beluga Wraps to be certified hip-healthy! That means that using our carriers as directed will not cause or exacerbate hip dysplasia.

Certified Hip Healthy Beluga Wrap

“IHDI recognizes that the Baby Beluga Stretchy Baby Wrap has developed products that consider the importance of healthy hip development during infancy. This is especially important during the early stages of hip development in the first few months after birth.”

Hip Hip Hip HOORAY!

We have always known that our products are hip healthy and safe for your baby, but this certification is a wonderful stamp of approval that hopefully helps build your trust in us. It is always such an honour to be a part of your parenthood journey, and trust me, I do not take that lightly.

If you ever have any questions about the safety or proper use of our wraps, you can check out our tutorials page here, or reach out to info@belugababy.ca with any questions.
